Rubber end came off my CT36 hose.

I was just using my CT36, and the rubber end simply fell off.

I can see how it's supposed to reverse-thread onto the hose, but I can't get it back on because the inner sleeve is designed to rotate.

I'm tempted 9out of frustration) to just glue the thing on, ut then I'd lose the great rotation feature.

Is there some trick to this?

There are two little slots on the end.  Press in with a common screwdriver and it will come apart.  You will have it from there I'm sure.
