Running CTLC/CTMC-sys vacuum on other 2x18V batteries?

Hello,
Is it possible to run cordless battery dust extractor CTLC/CTMC-sys powered from other brand batteries, just by connecting 2x18V power pins? I know that this might damage the exctractor and void the warranty, but technically will it work?

There are more than just the positive and negative pins that connect to the tool.  There are other pins that help the tool identify the temperature and other factors to prevent overheating and other quality of life issues.

Don't do it.

i understand the risks, the question is pure technical - will it run, or there is some sort of "engine immobiliser" installed/programmed into CTx-sys series cordless vacuums?

I don't think anyone on here knows, and you won't get even an unofficial answer from Festool about it.

Easiest way to find out is to try it, no?
