Hello,
this is my first post here and I want to share my drawings of sacrificial fences for the kapex 120.
the drawing is in the svg-format with 72 dpi. The drawings are made to cnc the fences instead of building them by hand.

I made the fences using 6.5mm birch plywood und used M4 washers between the lower fence and the kapex to raise it to 7,5mm thickness. Works very fine. The drawing is quite precise as you can see from behind. I used M6 countersink screws, washers from the backside and big round nuts which can easily used without tools to dismount the rear fences. The fit exactly inside the green levers of the two back fences.

Hope, someone can use this to cnc his own, without creating the drawing, which was not as easy as I estimated before.
Best wishes from Bochum / germany
martin

the rear fences are a bit long, my plan was to cut them  bit shorter from time to time, so I always have zero clearance without adjusting so close. But you only need to cut twice to make them as short as you want by the kapex itself ;)

That's fantastic.  I just got my Shaper Origin and this will be a project I tackle.

Thanks for sharing!

I´m glad to see that so many want to use my drawings.

I have used countersink screws M6x20mm for the rear fences, my cnc only drilled 6mm holes and I made the countersinks on my drillpress. The six M4 screws of my downfence came out a bit damaged, (they were glued in by Festool) so I decided to replace them.

Is it possible to put the drawings in a pdf ?
So that I can print them and stick them on wood

Thanks
Menno

It is funny, I just create same svg file for Shaper Origin, and was planning to post it here.
