Samsung Tab 2 tablet

Is this the 7" model? For me I'd prefer a full size. Samsung is set to come out with a full sized tablet based on the Note, which utilizes a fully functional stylus so that has me interested. Again, the new Windows 8 surface looks to have more potential than anything else on the market but for that i'd like to see it released and wait a bit to see how it holds up. As far as 7" tablets go, I'd go for the new Nexus. reason being, it's straight up android and will get the latest updates before anything else. Samsung makes a very solid product, and their touchwiz overlay is nice, but that means you're waiting for them to recode any new versions of android, and in some instances features are removed to accommodate.

No this is the 10.1" model I'm looking at. It also has a mini SD slot so you can upgrade the memory.

Most of the android tablets have upgradable memory via sd card slots. The last Galaxy tab did not have an internal port for sd cards and used a 20 pin connector similar to the Ipad. Memory expansion/ hdmi and the like were done through a small peripheral you would attach to the 20 pin port. IMO this is a bit of a drawback if you plan on using these features as it's just another item to lose while lugging around.

Take a peek at this for other android options. the Transformer infinity looks nice.
