Sand Paper not sticking

I bought one of the newly configured hard pads for my ETS150/3 a few weeks ago.  After awhile the paper will not stick to the pad anymore.  I've actually had a couple of the discs fly off.  Has anyone else experienced this problem?  I've tried blowing off the back of the paper and the pad and that hasn't helped.  I never had this problem with the pad that came with the sander (old hole configuration).  Up until this point I had never used one of the hard pads.  Is the velcro on the hard pads not as substantial compared to the softer pads?

I only use the hard pads and changed over all my sanders to the hard pads.

I have never had an issue with any of them.

I have both kinds of pads for my sanders.

I have not noticed a difference in either of them that way.

I've seen a previous report or two before of the paper not sticking to the pad.  Those cases were due to the pad overheating and melting the pad's velcro.  Check the velcro on the pad in question against another pad, if you can, to see if that might be the problem.

I'll check tomorrow and see but I don't think that's the case.  I say that because it will hold a new disc of sandpaper right after it's thrown the old one off.
