Hey guys I'm looking to get a little palm sander... Ie  the ets 125 I'm just wondering dose this come in 110v as here in Ireland all site tool have to be 110v not 240v if any body has any ideas let no cheers

As you might have seen on Festool UK that only the ETS 150, Rotex 150 & Rotex 90 are available with 110V.

Only 110V-Ø125 mm sander I know is the Bosch GEX 125-150 AVE. You can use two discs Ø125+150mm.
Available from Axminster.

I know it is expensive, but the Mirka ceros is amazing and works 110 and 220.  It has a converter that plugs into the wall and then the sander plugs into the converter.

They have different strokes, One is 2.5mm, 5 and 8mm.

Yup, the Mirka is a amazing sander, It can do both fine sanding and ruff sanding.
It will be your go to sander.

I don't know if it was a glitch or not.  I had the Mirka Ceros 6" 8mm stroke in Amazon cart for quite some time.  I already have the 5" Ceros.

It is expensive (495.00) so I was just looking and looking.  This morning the price drop down $100.00 to 395.00 . I purchase it right a way, in less than 5 seconds after I pushed the buy button the price increased again to 495.

I guess I am lucky or it was a glitch.  I have now the 5" 5mm stroke and the 6" 8mm stroke.  I will test against the Rotex 125, I know in direct drive will be a great test.

I'm curious to see how the Mirka 6" 8mm stroke sander compares to the RO 125.
The removable Edge protector on the RO is something I wish the Mirka had.

I will get it Wednesday.  I will prepare a test.  I hope I won't get this post lock down like it happen to me before.

Just as disclaimer, I am not a pro woodworker/carpenter.  I am a Database/Applications consultant that has not relation to Mirka except to let them take money from my wallet.

I will make comparison with the best of my abilities and I take suggestions.

I almost bought the Mirka 6" 8 mm stroke sander to compliment my Mirka 5" 5mm but ended up getting the RO 90 and RO 125.
All 3 are great sanders. I'm thinking of ordering the DTS 400 EQ  now.

Most of my work are on staircases. new ones and older ones that need to be stripped.
For stripping I think the DTS400 would work better in places that the ro 90 with the delta pad wont like risers because the length of the ro 90sander.
