Just curious why the 60, 100 and 150 grits are not available for the pocket stickfix?

It looks like there isn't a particular easy answer for this. Obviously, we can't produce this in every grit scenario, and the 60, 100 and 150 were not determined to be the most popular options for this.

Thanks for the update.  As long as we're talking sandpaper -- another request: 100grit Granat for 80x133 paper.  It's just weird that it's not available in the States, when all the other Granat grits from 40 to 400 are represented.

At this point, that won't happen in 2016.

Appears that StickFix Abrasives no longer available at Lee Valley.  What are some of you doing for replacements?  I still have a few boxes left.
Thanks

Usually get mine from Amazon or Hartville Hardware.  I'm not sure if the latter will ship to Canada.

I bought hook and loop paper in the grits I wanted and cut to size..PITA

We still stock it.

I love the little pocket stick fix, only problem is I can never find the damn thing when I need it
Can someone please make one of those RFID things to put inside it so I can find it with my iphone
and yes more sandpaper would be good too

I keep mine in a mini systainers...actually I have around 15 of the minis where I store various assortment of related bits and pieces.  I keep Leigh FMT patterns in one, my plastic fab drills & tools and  in one, MFT dogs, MFT clamps, Banco scrapers, and so on.

I've been using rolls of Mirka Abranet in various grits with my stickfix. As a painter I found the Festool Stickfix abrasives loaded so fast when sanding various primers and paints that they were almost useless for my application. I've had excellent luck using Abranet so far.

I'm with Pnw painter regarding Abranet.  I just bought the two Mirka (2 3/4 x 5 & 70) vac assist hand sanders as they are narrower than Festools.  The biggest draw back both company's  hand sanders are the tiny hoses (I have Bosch), dust collection is minimal unless the whole surface of the pad is in contact, still better thatn none.
