Does higher grit paper clog faster than lower grit,  or does Granat last longer than Rubin 2?

I'm sanding latex primer -  which is a huge pain anyway -  and going from 80-120-180 grits. The 80 is Granat, the rest is Rubin 2. The 80 grit last far longer than the 120 or 180, which clogs in about 10 minutes. I bought what my local dealer had when I picked up a new RO 150, but wondering if the Granat is far superior for this task, or if it's the grits.

Granat is definitely superior on primer and paint grade. I would go 100 or 120 to 150 on that usually.

From the looks of those abrasives, I'd be curious what the primer was and how cured it was.

Like Scott eluded to, how long had the primer cured? Also, let the sander do the work. No pressure and keep it moving. Pressure or sitting in one place builds up heat which melts the latex and it sticks to the abrasive.

Thanks for the replies. The primer is Behr, and it's been on for several months. Will never use it again, but now I'm simply trying to get it off to start fresh.
