I saw this ad on CL for a gentleman who is selling off his workshop full of tools because he is moving.
I stopped by there this afternoon because I am looking for a benchtop drill press for my basement shop and the ad said there was a drill press for sale but no photo or model listed.
So I get there and its a floor model, an older Delta back when they were a quality tool and in excellent condition.
He also has a beautiful bench that he built that has a full bank of drawers underneath and a nice shoulder vise. You can see it in one of the photos in the ad from which I have taken this clip.
I don't know these people other than having visited their home to view the items for sale. They are moving to smaller accommodations.
He had other items like a huge collection of Pony pipe clamps for $100 If you were to buy them today you would easily spend over $300 just for the pipe clamps w/o the pipe.
So if you're within a short drive of Franklinville, NJ you might want to contact them through the CL ad and arrange to take a look. If you are looking to buy a bench you can't go wrong with this one or the drill press for that matter. I would take that DP over anything available today that currently sells for less that $750, and he's asking a fraction of that, $150 IIRC.
I get nothing out of this just trying to help a retiring woodworker. I told them I might know someone interested but did not say I would be mentioning anything online.
