I saw Tom Silva using one of these on This Old House.  Curious if anyone has any experience with one?  Very sweet, albeit pricey.  You know when something is expensive when you have to submit an email on their website to find out the price.  Found one on Ebay for $3k.  ... too rich for my blood, as a hobbyist.  I still want one!

I am a big fan of smart phone integration. I have several things lined up and trying to get some contractors to work on but one that I had in mind a year or two back when I first saw this (no pun intended) on TOH, I said to myself, "self... What could be done to make that better?"  Didn't think voice recognition but I did think wifi or BT as someone measures and sends it to the saw and the cutters phone for verification.

I am sure you could use Siri or another VR program to take it to that last step. The future is now my friends!
