I had triggered the safety feature on my SawStop (my fault). I had a backup cartridge that I couldn’t get to work. I kept getting an error code that wasn’t listed in the manual. I called SawStop service. They sent a backup. It worked fine. I sent in the bad cartridge hoping the problem wasn’t my error. Just got a response saying the failing cartridge had flunked their testing. I am a very happy SawStop customer.

Good to know on two fronts. Good to know a faulty cartridge won't let the saw run. Also good to know they didn't fall back on "user error".

I have always had great interactions exceeding my expectations when speaking with SawStop so I am not surprised they took care of you.

I have always had good service out of the saws and the tech-support team too.
Over the years, we have had 6 of them, always 2 at a time, for various reasons. This is in a commercial cabinet shop environment, and they know it. We have had a few issues, here and there, but they have always gotten us fixed up.

In my conversation with th tech, I mentioned that I had been through the manual before calling.

I think all customer satisfaction reps appreciate customers having done their homework (read the manual)  before calling.
