Scheduled forum maintenance - Friday, 11/12/10 @ 7pm EST

Well, I deliberately misspelled a few words and they came up with the squiggly red line underneath the bunged-up words.

[blink]

The red squiggly is built into Firefox and other browsers.  The spell check on the forum itself is still not operable.

Ken, if I had a CMS myself, I'd consider it. See, not even I have one.  [crying]

Shane,

Frankly I am surprised that you would bother to fix it as it is included in every modern browser that I can think of.  [2cents]

I'm using IE8, and I don't think it has a built in spell checker.  Or have I been missing out on this?  Is there an option somewhere in IE8 to activate?

I don't have the spell checker either.  I really miss it.

I am sure that a lot of members will not miss it or notice it was ever there.

Should just underline (in red) mis-spelled words. But then again I haven't used IE in 10 years

Harry, IE doesn't have a built-in spell check function like most other browsers.

Regardless, I realize that this needs to be fixed. I have made several attempts without success.  I will continue to work on it as time permits. Sorry for the inconvenience in the mean time.

I blame it on the server operating system you switched to.

Go back before it's too late!
