SEPTEMBER 2008: RTS 400 or DTS 400 Sander

Thank you.  :) My fellow-designers (Isla and Ethan) will be thrilled when I tell them.  :)

I will choose the DTS -and it will mean that I will have four different Festool sanders.

CONGRATS FRANK!!!

Your work is very inspiring, keep em coming!

Ken

Hey Frank - I'm glad you finally won! Well deserved! You're an inspiration. Plus, you have really great assistants!

Congratulatoins Frank!  That project really is inspiring and worthy of a prize.  When my own daughter is a little older, I intend to try something similar.

I was wondering which sander (if any) you would need, after your log cabin restoration project :)

I also wanted to mention that I think this month's contest has been a great success.  I look forward to next month's contest, where hopefully I can contribute as well.

I agree that the combination of public discussion and offline judging worked well this month.  I'd like to expand the online discussion portion however, and get more people involved.

You can start contributing to the October contest right now, and so can everyone else.  Take a look back through all the projects that have been posted throughout the history of the FOG, and tell us which one you like best!

Actually, this discussion belongs in the October contest discussion...

See you there,
Matthew

Just wanted to say Frank, congradulations. A very deserved win. Great project. You did good my friend. ;D

Well deserved win Frank. I just like watching you interact with the children.

Congratulations Frank,

The DTS is just about kid size. Perhaps you can introduce your fellow designers to the wonderful world of sanding!!!

Really cute project too.

It did cross my mind that the sander was gentle and light enough that my grandchildren could use it.  I will definately attempt to make that happen.
