There is a "personal messaging" (PM) system on this forum, which allows members to send notes to each other. When you receive a PM, you will find it by clicking on the "MY MESSAGES" link in the main menu. There is also a flashing indicator -- [attachimg=#2] -- which reminds you when you have received a PM from someone.
However, there are also two other options you can activate to make PMs more obvious:
For those of you who wish to activate PM pop-ups or e-mail notification (or both), follow these instructions:
1. Click "PROFILE" from the main menu.
2. Click "Personal Message Options" in the "Modify Profile" area.
3. Check the box for the option, "Show a popup when you receive new messages?"
4. To activate email notification, choose an option from the "Notify by email every time you receive a personal message:" pull-down menu.
5. Click the "Change profile" button.

- "Pop-ups" -- A message box appears on the screen telling you that you have received a PM
- "e-mail notification" -- You receive an e-mail message, sent to the address you used when registering for the forum.
