Shaper Origin has launched (handheld cnc)

The Shaper Origin has launched, and I preordered mine today.  While it will be immensely useful for jig making and simple circle and mft processes, I'm hoping it would be able to be used with some slight engraving as well.  I'm sure most of you have checked it out, but they have added some new videos.  Sorry across the pond, they have not made plans to deliver a 240V version as of now.  The link below allows for a $100 dollar discount as well as showing the capabilities of this machine.

No offense on my part. There is a lot of shady stuff out there these days.  We both receive discounts as I was explained.  I'm quite the skeptic myself sometimes. Also I see that [member=1619]SRSemenza[/member] is looking into whether this is even appropriate for me to post on here.  If not, my apologies to the FOG community.  I will be making more beneficial posts soon.

[big grin]  Honestly I had been following their progress for nearly a year and just jumped on the release to get the lowest offered price.  I didn't even notice the year wait! [blink]  I have been looking at different CNCs for a while now, including x-carve, but I just don't have a area to dedicate to the setup.  Maybe Ill be lucky to get this one to fit in a sys4 or sys5  I guess I will be waiting (longingly) for this one.  My luck will be that they will go out of business just about the time I get all setup and I wont be able to get the tape that you have to have to use the thing! haha
