I recently finished making the Tripod Stool using my Shaper Origin.  The reason I am posting here is that after I cut out the piece for the top, I realized I had cut through a domino I had used to join the board.

I used the Origin's on-tool "slot tool" to make a mortice to remove the defect and then a matching plug using a cut off.

I was able to match the grain pretty well, I know it is there, but have a hard time finding it.  Here is a picture of the finished stool.

That's a really good looking patch. Getting the grain lines right is really tough. I cut a Domino mortice on the wrong face of a table leg one time a few years ago and had to do the same thing. It would have been 1000 times easier with an Origin, but this was long before there was such a thing.
Again, great job, no one will ever see it on an edge like that.
