It is with genuine sadness (and permission of his son) that I write to inform that one of Members, Ron Wenner, passed away over the weekend.  He was a member here, and together with his son Ryan formed Seneca Woodworking and began manufacturing ancillary products to enhance Festool usage.  They, along with Steve Adams (Qwas) were the first that I can remember posting here about their Festool specific products.  In designing their products it was often with the input of Members here.

Although we have had members pass away before, and I suspect we don't have close to an accurate accounting, in this case Ryan, his son, is a member and active here.  Many of you have fond memories or thoughts that could be shared, and perhaps those may help with the sorrow Ryan and his family are experiencing.

So sorry to hear this.  A big contributor to the Festool community and accessories for the tools.  RIP Ron.

Ryan, love your and your Dad's products.  May you find solace in carrying on your dad's legacy and talent.

The news of the passing of Ron Wenner also leaves TSO with a sense of loss because he was one of a select group of individuals who strove to bring value and help to woodworkers with products which are genuinely new and helpful as their continued popularity attests.

While TSO competes with SENECA Woodworking in some areas, the end result is a more vigorous tool world for all woodworkers.  Ron can rest in Peace now as he surely took pride in seeing Ryan carry on in ways that made him proud.

We salute the Wenner family!

Sorrow indeed!
We all have an expiration date. But it is wonderful to know of the ways this forum member made the lives of others a little better.
