a few days ago i was drilling a hole with a new hole saw. i drilled a hole in the wall for a extractor fan. there was a stud in the way , the stud was supporting t+g shheting that i didnt want to take down. i ran the holesaw throught the 4inch pipe with an extension. i n it againt a block wall on one side [scared] oops. anyway its as blund as it could be on the out side but sharp on the inside. the set is worn off on the out side
do you think i could sharpen it or is it a write off.

I'd try to sharpen it. Take a thin grinding wheel and dress it to match the angle of the teeth.  It's much easier than trying to file them.

If you try sharpening it, you may end up with slightly out of size saw. I would bin it.
