This is probably overthinking this but....
I have been asked make serveral shelves which be supported with black pipe fixtures.
As these will be holding expensive bottles of bourbon I plan to affix the supports to the wall stud (16" on center").
How long should the right/left overhang be to get the right "look". I need this for 16", 32" and 48" stud spacing.
I vaguely recall some type of "golden rule" involving 2/7 and 5/7?
