Hi my festool friends I need some guidance from my American brothers.

Here's the scenario my sister in law leaves the USA to come live in Scotland on 15 July or July 15. I need to get the RTS 500 adapter and Domi shims from Seneca In Pennsylvania to her in Utah before then. When I go to the shipping options I get a choice of 7, starting at $5.95 up to $98. The cheapest is USPS priority mail. I've comfortably got a week, assuming the shims come back in stock pretty soon, so I'm thinking the cheapest option will get there in time but I'm not familiar with your postal service.

Advice please?

Thank you John I've just ordered them. Now all I need is the domino XL!

Nashville is on my list of places to visit in the US when I eventually make it over...

You already decided, but I have had excellent luck with USPS Priority Mail so I believe you had a wise choice. Enjoy your toys...er, tools!

[big grin]

I get my stuff the normal standard rate UPS Priority seems to be the best. Even when I order to my APO

You would have got them quicker getting them delivered direct to you in Scotland.

I had the adapter and shims delivered in about 7 days direct to the UK for around $18 if I remember correctly.

Ye it wasn't much more to get them sent here but ussually you have to got to the post office to collect and pay VAT import duty plus a handling fee so it can be a hassle.
