Shop layout questions

[eek]my shop is 12' x 20' .....I have a Jet 14' band saw (be here next week), scroll saw, kreg router table, Bosch job-site table saw, 4' x 8' work bench and a 12" Bosch glider saw, i own a festool track saw, 1400 of router, jigsaw, sander......I am trying to figure out my layout because I am building a miter saw station.....trying to figure out how long to build miter saw station........my job site saw is on a cart i built and router table has casters......its hard to compact all these tools in a shop and still have lots of work space.......  miter saw station will be 30" deep.......the 4x8 bench is MFT style thinking of cutting 1 foot off of length to gain a foot of room.......any suggestions would be great......

One thing that might help you decide is your workflow. Think about the steps you go through when working on a project and, if possible, arrange your tools and work tables so that it is convenient and logical to move from one to the next or between them in the middle of a project. That is easy for me to say, but sometimes harder in practice to make that work.

Is it possible to get that table saw built into the table to gain some space?

I have the same size shop and I've put my Kapex along the 20' side.
The counter runs 14' x 25"d. Also have removable fences along the way also.
Im not into the mobile scene and display no systainers (

I've got a miter saw station running along one wall of my shop, it's approx 17 feet in length, and 24/26" deep.  I've just about reached the conclusion I would rather build a miter saw cart similar to Peter P's and regain that wall space for some of my stationary tools. Although all of my big equipment are on mobile bases/casters (the cabinet saw, 2 x band saws, oscillating spindle sander, 2 x planers, the USS Saratoga aka - the Delta 8" joiner, 22/44 drum sander, radial arm-6"x36 sander station, 2 x router tables plus my CT36 with boom arm and Jet DC system) doesn't leave a lot of floor space when I set up my two MFTs....  It's nice to have that dedicated space, but, it does take up a lot of "space".

here is what I did...
    I turned my 4x 8 work bench crossways near the back of the shop leaving me plenty of space......          second .......I built my miter station were it buts up against the 4 x 8 bench on the side wall..... put casters on it I also incorporated my router table in the station.......it is 30 " deep had to put 5 casters on it.......I now have my kreg router cart to use as a small roll around cart.....Got my band saw on the opposite wall  in the front corner.......have it put together but have not tested yet.....trying to get miter station done first......I will post some pics soon

also might cut out part of work bench for table saw.....for more space........
I did find this layout gives me a lot more floor space.....

i cut out part of my bench so slide my table saw in and out, this give me more room in the shop......I can still cut long boards if i need to by sliding it out..... I am almost finished with the new miter saw station router station as you see i just need the drawer fronts on the router bit drawers and the front of the router i will be putting a view in the door to see the router.....
this new layout clearly gives me more room
