Short or retractable plug-it cable for CMS use

It would be nice if there was a short plug-it cable that came with the CMS-table to connect to the tools so you wouldn't need to have a coil of Plug-It hanging under the table or have to cut one cable and build your own makeshift cable to get rid of the redundant length.

Even better would be to have a retractable plug-it cable that's permanently connected to the CMS-bases that you can pull out to the tool when in use and retract into a holder when transporting the CMS base without a tool attached.

It is easy to make up a shortened plug-it cable. If you have a number of tools that take plug-it cords then you can probably spare one to shorten.

I have done this.

I do like the idea of a retractable lead but it would be too expensive and too complicated.
