Well it looks like my shop build has been delayed due to permits. However theres nothing stopping me from designing work stations for it and building them once the shop is built.

One of the first stations I want to build is one for my miter saw. Right now as Im in a temp set up, I just got my Kapex sitting on a Kapex MFT. So Im curious to see what others have come up with for their miter saw stations.

This is pretty much what Im dealing with right now. Its changed a bit little more organized but still chaotic to me [scared]

My shop is small, 4.5 x 5 meters, so I wanted a miter workstation that had plenty of drawer storage.  I bought the plans from Jay Bates and modified them to fit my space constraints.  I also converted them to metric.

I still have to finish the trim to cover the plywood edge, install the t-track on the left side of the saw, and add a dust shroud for the miter saw.  It's not clear in this image, but I added two lengths of angle iron on the side panels under the miter saw shelf.  The shelf is attached in each of the four corners with 100mm long M8 carriage bolts and lock nuts.  This allows me to adjust the height of the shelf for any miter saw.  For now, I have the Dewalt DWS780, but plan on buying the Kapex as soon as I find a buyer for the Dewalt.

The table top drill press slides towards the wall when not needed.  This clears up the space to the right of the saw.

And at the other end of the spectrum...  [big grin]

Dewalt fan, eh? [tongue]

That T-track extrusion support system is interesting.

Here you go. Still need to put the T-track into the wings but everything else is finished.

I’m fortunate to have a lot of space but this could easily be shortened. The mini mft is stored to the right of the kapex so I can pull it out for quick domino jobs or take to a job site. I used phenolic plywood for the top and love it.

Miter saw, drill press and Kreg Foreman all in the same station. It is all on wheels and dust collection is a couple of shop vacs with separators in the cabinets below. Storage for drill bits and hollow chisel mortiser below as well.

There is a video on here somewhere of the build of ours.  It still works good!  We added a dedicated install kapex with ug cart and the wings, so we don't break this shop station down as much as we used too.

Hi Jason at Bents woodworking has a video on his new assembly table but he covers his miter station briefly
He’s simplified it Which will be different from what’s posted thus far It’s worth a look
Best

I'm envious of these set-ups! As many of my posts emphasise - I don't have a lot of space.

So my 'station' is as simple as it gets. The Kapex sits on one of the longest runs of bench top I have, and I have some simple blocks that plug into the 20mm bench top holes and lift the workpiece up to height. I can move these blocks around as required.

A big advantage for me is that I don't have to clear the worktop of other 'stuff', the workpiece being cut generally passes over the top.

Love the integration of 3 tools on one station with mobility!

Everything should be on wheels if it can be.  Makes it way easier to move it when I need to. Also, the miter saw and kreg Foreman both work well with long wings for stock support.

I think that there may be a few others similar to this one:

20mm holes on both ends and middle to relocate kapex

Made another set of supports that are 3/4" shorter to support a set of wings whenever I need them,

Last photo was a quick mock up to give you the idea.
Also  may cut a grove on the supports instead of holes at attachment point so they will spin around to be used as crown stops.
