Simple Bench from Wine Barrel Staves

Here's a quick project I built with a friend. Only took a couple hours, as usual the real time is spent getting all the tricky angled and curved cuts done on the bandsaw. Still trying to figure out a better way to determine those. Shown unstained and unfinished.

Great idea.
Just spent Saturday at Keswick Vineyards near Cville at the Consensus Event.  While tasting wine from 10-2, I discovered you can purchase a wine barrel which they then fill with wine.  You then kind of lease the barrel for one case of wine per year.  After 4+ years, you get the barrel, minus the wine.  I dreamt all night of the things you could do with a barrel.
