My single garage, I've had to work with what I've got! Garage came with house. Floor is a state as levels are all messed up. Used to be an air raid shelter there and apparently they left the old floor down. Going to put dom down then chipboard flooring sheets. I've just put together my Ron Paulk mft 2 x 1m top, just need a base squaring away now. Internal space 4.5 x 3m. Gets nice and warm already, 70mm celotex on the roof on top of rafters then osb and a 2 layer roofing felt system. Would love a level wall plate and pitched roof, but couldn't afford :(

Coat of hard wax oil on newly constructed Ron Paulk bench. Parf dog needed. Hurry up Axminster.
Just need to build cabinet for it to sit on. And lidl castors ;)

Picked up Domino 500 today from Nuts and Bolts.

Couldn't wait any longer for Parf dogs. So ordered these off eBay £40 for 3 pairs. All different heights.

Yes, I have those, too. You will end up using both these and the parf dogs. Good luck.

If you need to borrow anything, I'm just down the road it would seem. PM me if you like, I'm just south of the airport.

I have a converted stable, it's cold, full of rubbish and generally uninspiring.

Casters added, went for all swivel casters for ease of movement. £3.99 from Lidl and they are great 50kg per corner and moves very easily. Added 3 spines to the base to help with strength. Glued and pocket holed with K5, really enjoying k5 now.

P5 floor down. Heavy gauge dpm laid, 6mm fibreboard (can't do anymore because of height) then the P5 chipboard flooring. Don't know if to put floor paint down or not?  Already so much underfoot. Height of workbench is just under height of ug with Kapex. So it will save me getting wings out of the van. At the moment I'm out and about working.

Going to do a run of cabinets on the left at the same height. Then I can put stuff away, currently in the garden heavily wrapped up. Router table and bandsaw in neighbours garage.

The "no nonsense" floor paint from round the corner is very good - and cheap - we have it in our office. Just another thing to maintain though right? Leave it au naturelle.

Have those castors got brakes on them? Or is it going to be like Torville and Dean in there?

If you need some adjustable feet to lock down one end, I had some off eBay that adjust to around 50mm.

Dan

All four lock, very sturdy. Yeah thinking leaving it natural, may be get some thin rubber mats. Happy so far.
