Sleeved AS hose

I was reading the catalog and saw that the sleeved 3.5m hose is tapered from 22mm to 32mm.  The average of those dims is 26mm. Should I expect the same performance from a tapered hose as I get from a consistent 27mm hose?

I notice no difference between the tapered hose and a straight 27mm.

I don't notice a difference either- have used my sleeved hose with sanders, TS55, and DF500.

+3. .. I own both the short and the long version... they work fine for sanding, but with the long version, I'm leery of using it for vacuuming up dirt or crud at a work area, so I don't unless the chips or shavings are small and no risk of a clog inside that tapered hose.
