Sliding Saw question - use of multiple extensions instead of an outrigger?

Hi all

I have a Felder K500 on order, without the outrigger table due to space constraints.

I have ordered a table extension to latch onto the slider at 90 deg to give more support area.

I have been thinking if I could go buy another couple extensions to offer more support for sheet goods and go some way to mitigating the absence of an outrigger

Would this work / or be of much benefit? Sorry, I have never owned a slider before so this is new territory for me.

Any views appreciated

Don't over think the whole thing simply get the saw and use it as it comes. When it all boils down the footprint to cut a full panel of plywood is the same for a slider as for a cabinet saw so they in essence use the same area. The beauty of the Hammer/Felder range of saws is that most accessories can be fitted later on if and when needed so there is very little buyer remorse if for instance you don't order the outrigger and decide to fit it later. I did not buy the outrigger with the machine and added it later when I had to build 32 tables for a restaurant and the job paid for it.
