Small FESTOOL project.(Part One,CD stand:})

Neat work there, I really like the gig you set up to cut the slots for the cd's. I will use that in future.
 
The router jig looks like it was safer and easer then using a dado on the table saw.

I never used a dado on the table saw.
NEIL,your CD stand is unique [drooling].Interesting design.It could help in future.
Its made from birdseye maple and wenge?
 
It's Birdseye and Walnut.

The grooves were cut with the Kapex and I inserted walnut strips to hold the CD's.  The rear dowel was used to stop them from sliding back.  Once the grooves were cut, I band sawed the curve on the front.
