Hello Ricky L,
I didn't use any inner reinforcement. Handle/ vertical part is bonded by two pieces of nut-wood. I arranged them after sawing up in a way to make them pull against each other. Since  I was working for myself this risk is acceptable and in the same time a source for next examination of shape of constancy of this solution. From a distance of three quarters of the year the gap between the doors is still 4 mm as in the beginning. I'm satisfied.

The end of last year gave me a really hard time. In the beginning of this one the heating in my workshop decided to stop working hence coming back to my playground was a bit slower. I made this sliding door last week and currently I'm working on other door with hidden hinges. It's a new game for me so I'm moving forward carefully. I made myself preparations for milling the hinges and individual parts will soon end up in skilled hands of techno-viking. He will take care of brilliant white surface.

Hi everybody.
The first of May is a holiday in our country. So I can share some pictures.
Tables (12 pieces) were completed and found their place. Even the wenge office is finished. The outdoor kitchen will be completed soon.

Can I ask a question about those tables and your choice of construction technique? I ask because I made a table that also had radiating mitres (but as it was an outdoors table I had gaps between each "ring").

I noticed you cut 16 mitres per table top, and seemed to build it from the centre out. Would it have been easier to make some wide boards first, then cut 4 mitres per table top? Would this have had other problems instead? I am not even close to your level of experience and skill, so would love to learn more about your decisions if you're willing to share.  [smile]

[member=26367]eddomak[/member] you think a great deal of me. I'm just a boy who's playing and learning the hard way. Anyway here are few points which led me during choosing the working method:
1. Customer is not willing to pay for solid oak and his request is to have perfectly smooth surface of the table.
2. With large-scaled materials MDF is used ordinary 0,5 mm veneer. I wanted to use decorative 1 mm thick veneer with beautiful texture.
3. As you could noticed in the outer strip there are 3 pieces of magnets glued inside for connecting the tables into various configurations. I wanted edge band with magnet to be covered by veneer.

That's why I've opted for: the edge band - 2 pieces of 7x36mm with magnets glued in the middle, 4 pieces of 6 mm thick MDF laminations with double side glued veneer of 1mm + middle square. This whole is carried by 800x800mm base board of 19mm.
I can tell that it is a complicated method but if we looking at the shape stability, probably the most reliable one. Solid oak could cause some problems in composition like this by the time.
Next complication was client's requirement for table reassembling in order to be able to transport it.
Here I was glad to use connecting system by Festool and I need to acknowledge that it works perfectly. Anyway thanks to it one table is composed of 108 pieces and all (12 tables) of 1296 pieces and that's quite slaughtering. I believe that it will serve well the owner for years.
