Snow storm suggestions for Uncle Bob and others in the NE

You guys sure have some premium taste for Scotch! Ashamed to say I drink JW Red and Black primarily. Had the Blue and loved it but drank way too much at a party and made a fool out of myself. Will have to try some single malts mentioned in this thread.

Try the Blantons single barrel bourbon, lip-smacking good and 1/2 the cost of my favorite scotch.

Peter,

Was it JW Blue King George V? Almost as good as Lismore 21, no where never as good as Highland Park 30.

Kind of a let down so far. Will have a drink and wait it out. Syslites charged and snowplow at the ready. It was a pretty good day of (Rotex waxed) snowboarding today, but we sure could use a big dump.

I like the scotch and books pic!
For me it was an early evening Rotex and track saw- in Sorel snow boots...
But I just traded the RO90 for a Sierra Nevada...

Beautiful photo.  Hopefully moving into my first place, just bought a condo, very soon and I intend to make a bookshelf and scotch shelf one of the first additions.  I've been dying for a library and premium scotch collection for such a long time.

It occurs to me that I don't think I have every shown my library on the internet. Wow. Something sacred.

Do show Scott.  Do show.

I'll have to come up and visit you one of these days.

Spent the day at the mountain today. I recommend coming to Vermont either before or after mud season !

I stopped skiing so I'm always up there during mud season when I'm riding, never plan well.  I haven't been there in years though.  I used to spend a lot of winters in Peru, VT and skiing Bromley 'n Stowe

When you say riding do you mean as in snowboarding? That is one of our passions.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch....... snow hasn't hit us so badly - maybe 4 inches.  A quick pass by with the snowblower and shovel. But we will see what tonight brings. Maybe time to check out the snow shoes.
