Looking at the snow piling up quickly outside my window.  It's a snow day off from work for many people today in the city, myself included.  Might wander into the shop a bit later and take advantage of this unexpected gift.

How much are you predicted to get?  Heard from a friend in Massachusetts that is expecting 16-inches or so.

Weather Service is saying 9 to 13 inches for southern New Hampshire. We have 6 (152 mm) +or- so far.

One of the downsides of working from home is no snow days off.

Anywhere from 8-12" where I am, though things are supposed to start clearing up in a few hours, so I can go do my civic duty and shovel the sidewalk.  Upper New England along the coast is going to get the worst of it though.

I'm in Northern Rhode Island and we are in the 10 inch range so far.  luckily i was able to work on a few projects around the house and nock off a few hunny-do's in between shoveling.  Now we are catching up on Schitt's Creek.

I spent 7 1/2 hours clearing snow today thanks to the 8" we recieved.  Worst part was that it has been unseasonaly warm the last few days and started as rain and sleet.  I live on a major, much traveled route and the road has better than an inch of packed snow and slush at 6:20 when I started my workout.  I had to run the blower, after the 30 minutes or so that it took me to find my starting fluid, and then shovel off the packed slush under the snow.  Love my older Toro that now sports a Honda motor.  One squirt of starter and pops right off...and I don't think I used it last year at all.

You guys keep getting all our snow!  Not only do I want to make some turns in the freshies, but I have a full arsenal of John Deere and Polaris fun waiting to shovel and push the big dump around.  For 4 years the tractor and Ranger have been stuck doing their regular forestry and yard work just itching to move a lot of snow.  I think 8"s is the most we've had since moving to a higher elevation in the country-side four years ago.

I used to live in downtown Burlington and saw so much more snow then.  Now all the big dumps go to Boston.  Climate shift?  Definitely a WTF mother nature.
