My new spindle moulder arrived today, SCM TI145EP, it comes with
Pro-TL version, this is the side sliding table
Electric spindle (I hate belt changing)
12 inch touch screen, one touch and the fences/spindle moves itself into position.

At the moment it measures 1.4m x 2.6m x 1.9m, weighs 1200kg, by the time I put it together it will measure 1.6m x 3.9m x 1.9m. it dwarfs everything else in my workshop including my 1100mm wide twin belt SCM sander.
No damages to all corners, just want to say a big thank you to everyone involved in loading and unloading of the machine.

Felder Profil 45 was considered for a brief moment but it doesnt have the side sliding table which is top priority for my workshop. so went ahead with the SCM.

Busy weekend ahead completing scheduled works, will up load more photo once set in place.

Just very glad its finally here given the global pandemic we are having, I ordered it in July 2020, SCM finished building it in Dec 2020. It arrived at the distributors around mid February.

Holy moly, I couldn't afford the tooling let alone the machine.  I don't get it.  How can that go in a two car garage?  You've got 3 phase power in there?  You running 2 shifts in that garage?  I wouldn't even know what to do with the dust.  It's all I can do to handle the chips from my 6" jointer and 12" lunchbox planer.

Its actually a 3 car garage, but I have too machines in there, I managed to place a 3.8m slider, 20 inch TP combo (Felder AD951F), swing chisel mortiser, 20 inch bandsaw, 10hp compressor, bag house extractor and a 1100mm wide twin belt sander in the garage. Yes I have 3 phase but no I am one man band, I have part timers on the weekend to help out, This is only part of the workshop, there is a storage and a dedicated spray booth at the back of the property.

Nice! I'd be interested in seeing more photos of your shop. Did you pay for 3ph to the building?

will post more photos once the final position for the spindle moulder is confirmed, yes I had 3ph installed. where I live its residential but years ago when it was subdivided, for whatever reason they had, the line company put in 3 phase box for every property. so I only had to upgrade the main cable to the box to get 3 phase. still a little fortune though.

This is likely where the SM will live. photo does not do justice, the user manual says ideally I need 7.6m x 6.6m, in reality I dont have that kind of space, it lives in a space of 2.1m x 4.8m
