Soft interface pad Festool sander RTS400

Since that question was easily solved, let me bump the thread with a related inquiry:

I don't think there is a Festool branded interface pad for the RS2, but is there perhaps a good aftermarket option for half sheet sanders generally -- and hopefully ones that have a similar hole pattern?

[member=37411]ear3[/member] - you could carve up three RTS400 interface pads and it would cover but you are going to lose all of the dust collection. The RS2 has bigholes and the RTS has little holes in a pattern that won’t line up at all. I just went down and looked.

I am curious though, why would you want an interface on an RS2 whose specialty is normally big flat surfaces?

It's definitely not the go-to option for contour sanding, but in certain situations I think it might be useful -- like one I just had where I applied a roundover to the edge of a large flat oval shaped table surface, and I wanted to clean up the edge.  I don't really like using the RTS in combination with other sanders either, because I find that the scratch patterns/surface finish don't always mesh.  It's fine if you use the RTS on a section isolated from the others by a 90 degree edge, but not when there's a bridge between the surfaces, as there would be with a rounded profile.
