Up for sale is an excellent Festool Domino XL set. I’m listing this as used although it may not have been used before. It is in like new condition. I purchased it from another guy who listed it as new but it doesn’t have the plastic cover over the Domino base and there are a few light scratches. I ended up getting a DF 500 so I don’t need the XL.
I changed out the knobs that lock the Domino angle and height so they are lower profile. This allows the Domino XL to be stored on its side in a Sys 3 M 187 which is less than half the height of the original Sys 5 it came in! This allows you to carry the XL with the side handle on the new 3rd generation Systainer. The XL and all the accessories fit nicely in the custom kaizen foam insert I made (In Festool green). There is an empty spot in the foam insert for the 5 DF 500 cutters (not included) that can be used with the Seneca small mortising kit.
This is an amazing set with everything you need to get started
