For those in the Continental USA I am selling a Festool 500276 Hose D27/22x3.5m with Sleeve and Power Cord In SYS 3 on eBay.
I am getting on in age and am no longer using my Festool dust collection tapered hose. I purchased two of these hoses in September 2015 when they were first released by Festool. One I have already sold and I am now selling my 2nd one on eBay.
Festool says about the tapered suction hose:
Developed to provide optimum protection for surfaces and significantly improved handling. The protective sleeve encasing the suction hose is made from 100% nylon, allowing it to glide gently over surfaces and edges, while the integrated plug-it-cable is protected against damage.
I used it with the Festool sanders, including the Rotex models, and found it did a very good job of collecting the dust. The advantage of having the cord integral with the hose (via the sleeve) is it helps greatly in eliminating hose and cord tangles and, of course, you always know where the hose is.
