Up for sale is a unique custom setup. It is a Festool MFT/3 connected to a CMS-VL. I’m switching over to a more portable setup with the CMS-GE.
I routed a CMS plate so it would fit Rockler sized router plates. There are aluminum extrusion supports that will hold up the router lift and spindle sander.
This setup also comes with the top of the line Jessem TA router fence that has an offset feature for jointing at the router table. I built a custom bracket to attach the Jessem TA fence to a 25” Incra LS Positioner which in turn is mounted to the MFT/3 using what’s called the Precision Plate that fits in the MFT/3 dog holes. It allows you to reposition the Incra LS Positioner for different length routing operations. I created a secondary fence lock using a festool clamp that attaches to the TA fence and locks into the MFT/3 profile. There is a small section at the end of the fence that got a notch routed in it. I moved the extrusion so the notch that got routed is at the end of the fence. I have the Jessem Clear Cut Stock Guides that attach to the TA fence to keep your work piece tight to the fence and the table during routing operations. I also have the Jessem Miter Slide II which attaches to the Jessem TA fence for coping on the router table and it can be used along with the Incra templates to make incredible dovetail and box joint joinery.
The Triton spindle sander can be dropped in the CMS plate and hooked up to dust collection for smooth sanding operation. I have various sanding sleeves in a couple grits. The plate has leveling screws I installed so you can level the plate in the CMS.
The Incra Mast-R-Lift II is a top of the line router lift that takes the majority of router motors on the market today. It has effortless operation to raise and lower your router. 6 Clean sweep magnalock rings are included along with the dust router to hook up your shop vac or Festool Dust Extractor for dust collection.
I have an Incra Telescoping Flip Fence that expands from 27”-49” attached to MFT by some custom fence dogs. This along with the rail dogs in this listing will allow you to make repeatable crosscuts with your track saw on the MFT/3. You will just need your track saw and track.
This setup also has Multiblade’s casters that make moving the MFT/3 super easy and convenient!
I could go on and on about the details of this setup. Please come check it out if you are interested.
