I am offering for sale an OF-1400 metric router along with a Guide Stop Adapter, pn 492601. The current pricing of an (imperial) OF-1400 is $600 and of guide stop is $59. The metric version is no longer offered by Festool, so it is kind of rare.

The router was purchased from my local Woodcraft on March 22, 2015. It is out of warranty by now. The condition of both, the router and the guide stop, is 10 out of 10: they are both brand new, never used. I only plugged in the router when I bought it to make sure it spins, but never used it for any woodworking. As you can see from the attached pictures, it even has the packaging foam in place.

The story behind it is that I used 5 consecutive summers of my life to completely remodel my house - bathrooms, all rooms, stairs, kitchen, backyard - plumbing, heated floors, tile, hardwood, you name it. There was a moment when I thought I would also make kitchen cabinets myself. I bought an OF-1400 with the intention to buy a Festool router table and use it for making cabinets. Fortunately for me, when I started planning the scope of work in the kitchen and started making a tentative schedule, I realized that with all vacation days that I had plus all weekends in summer I would not be able to do everything in one season, it was just too much. I ended up ordering semi-custom cabinets and only installed them myself.

Once the remodeling was finished, I  built a couple of small plywood cabinets and shelves and a kitchen table for my wife. For these projects, I used my other routers. Since I have not found a need for the OF-1400 since 2015, I concluded that I can as well let it go.

Payment is Paypal. I will send you an itemized invoice with full description of the items which you are buying.  Ground shipping to continental US only. No international shipping. If you are in Alaska and Hawaii, you would have to pay extra for air shipping. Ships from Portland, Oregon.

I sold on this forum in the past, and my observation was that Paypal takes 24 to 48 hours to review and clear the transactions. You may get an e-mail from PayPal that payment has been sent, but I may not get the confirmation that payment has been received until PayPal processes it. It may be different when you just send cash via Paypal. You can do it, too, if you prefer it that way, but I feel that I can as well offer to document the transaction as a purchase with an itemized invoice for your protection.

I am selling both the router and the guide stop adapter as a package.

$550 shipped (it is about 17% off the new price).  If signature upon delivery is not required, you need to explicitly state so - in this case, you take over the responsibility for the box between the time when it is dropped off at your door by the shipping carrier and the time when you pick it up.

If interested, send me a PM with your name, shipping address, and e-mail address for the invoice.
