SOLD
Minimax MM16 Bandsaw
2006 built by Centauro (Italy)
Second generation of MM16 with 16" resaw height and the larger motor size of 3.5 Kw / 4.8 HP (single phase 220 volt).
Includes resaw fence, worklight, mobility kit, at least half a dozen blades of various sizes and sharpness, and an additional set of guides: Euro-style ceramic guides used with the smaller blades ( These seem to go for about $300 now for a complete set 5 or 6)
The tires are a little rough, I’d recommend replacing them, but they are working fine. I’m the second owner.
This class of saw when bought new is now +$5500 with no extra guides or blades. (Such as SCM SS440). It's a beast, likely 500 pounds, so you will need to plan out how you're going to transport it, as well as bring some help. The saw is in a concrete floor workshop, level paved area, so no stairs to deal with on this end.
Buyer to pick up in Portland, ME.
