Hello Everyone,
Throughout the forum, I see lots of posts where someone has a minor service issue with a tool.  Many times, I see people posting about a minor service issue and getting a solution right here, without having to call Festool's Service Department.  This is one of the most valuable aspects of our forum, made possible by the amazing community we have here!

Obviously, if you have a major service issue, you need to call Festool.  Major issues cannot be solved here in an independent user forum (we hope very few people have major issues).

When people have had a "minor service issue," I'm curious about how often the help they get here makes it so they don't need to call Festool's Service Department.

Thanks everyone for your responses to these important polls.

Feel free to post comments or questions below.

Stay in touch,
Matthew

This would be a nice spot to put their Service phone number:

1 - 800 - 554 - 8741

One case is missing:
I think there are situations when one gets good advice from forum fellow members,
which nevertheless suggest to call Festool to completely solve the issue.

This happened to me recently about my 1400 router (I'm still waiting for
Festool France to answer the piece of email I sent last Monday ....)

Good suggestion.  I'll add that as another poll choice: "I got help here, but then I called Festool."
Thanks,
Matthew

Festools need fixin??? ;) I actually did need to fix my power plug on my CT-33 but they sent me a plug in 2 days. ;D

This forum helped me identify an issue I was having with one of my Festool tools and Shane and the good folks at Festool resolved the issue almost immediately.

This forum has been a great source of information and ideas.
