Hi,

Thought maybe it was time to let people know that I do something besides read FOG, and play with Systainers all day  [big grin]

So here are a few pics of things I have built and jobs  I have done.

From top to bottom....

1). Walnut built in, to match an existing one on the opposite side of  a fireplace.

2). Oak gate / door is part of a judges bench.

3). Patio Bar

4). Pine Hall Table

5). Purpleheart/Walnut Coffee Table

6). Built in wardrobe

Great projects Seth! The coffee table is also my favorite.

I hope that you have not started something here and people expect to see some of my stuff  [scared].

Very nice work, Seth. Well done. I like the coffee table a lot also. Would be nice to see some of these documented. [wink]

Seth,

Is this an over reaction to Rembo posting a few years worth of work in the late two weeks?

But really what has keep you from showing us this?

Cheers,
Steve

Kreg,

Thanks for letting me off the hook.  [big grin]

Curious about the patio bar construction.  Firstly, do you leave it out all the time, or all year with freezing and snow?

Nice stuff Seth!

Here is what I found for build pics. I thought I had one of the coffee table legs being bent on the form, but I can't find it.

1). The walnut base in place.

2 - 4). The judges bench.

Well I can't let Rembo get all the accolades  [wink]  [big grin] Seriously though, Rembo's work is great!  [not worthy]

Nothing in particular has kept me from posting it  [unsure]

Thanks for the comments  [thanks]

Uh, nope. I'm a woodworker.  I have had three different avatars over the years, all of them judges benches.  The first one was the job that started me in business and I have just changed the avatar as each one was built.

EDIT> judges bench is no longer  avatar pic.

Seth, great projects!

I really like the wardrobe!  As much as I love the beauty of natural wood, there's something about crisply painted/sprayed cabinetry!

A lot of the requests I get around here are paint grade, so I have probably been heavily influenced, but I really think its beautiful!

Nice stuff Seth!

Its not mine , belongs to a customer.  It is plywood construction with exterior varnish. Porcelain tile top (12" x 12" ,and 6" x 6") . The bamboo is fencing material added over the carcass. The customer covers it with something when not in use. Moves it in  or back against the house for out of season. There is a deck turned enclosed sun room above the patio area. It is a pretty well protected spot.  It has been several years he has not called with any problems on it. I bumped into him about two years after the build, he said  'all was good'.

The paint matches the rest of the trim work in the room, and  really does fit better if you could see the whole room than natural wood.  There is something about all those painted raised panels that draws me too.

Kreg,

Here you go.

The walnut one?  No stain on that , just finish. It is some reeeeaally nice dark walnut.  [cool]  I hated to cut it up  [sad]

The color difference is not as much as it looks in the pic. Just the way the light is hitting it.

Seth

Hmmmm, since so many of you like the coffee table here is one more  [smile]

Also the back side of the judges bench. Which  is also used for town board meetings , hence the length.
