A few forum members expressed an interest in getting together for breakfast on Saturday morning before the show.

Let's see a show of hands.  Who would like to meet for breakfast at a sit down diner near the show? [scratch chin]

What little I know of the area, 287 Exit 5 may be the closest exit where a diner, or two, is located.  Others that really know the area, please chime in.  All I/we ask is good coffee, decent food and and an "ole salty wardog of a waitress".  [wink]

I think the show starts at 10:00.  In that case, meeting around 08:30 would provide enough time to meet, eat and make it to the exhibition hall when the doors open, or the rope drops as is the case at this venue...

I am in, although re-thinking Saturday versus Friday. Builder Bob and Sal are planning Friday, so I can go either way (I know I was the non-Friday PM traffic on GS Parkway guy...).

Anyway, I have zero input on breakfast/meeting spots but will go with the consensus schedule.

PS - considering buying a long rail if they are available. Question is 2700 versus 3000. Other than long dimensional stock what would I ever need the extra length for?

I'll put you in the probable category.

I hope to get some input on a place to have said breakfast.

As for the 2700 vs. 3000.

The extra length allows your TS?? to be placed safely on the rail before it moves into the material and and completely off/out-of the material at the other end of a lengthwise cut.  Assuming a typical 4x8 sheet of...  I have never cut a full sheet of MDF lengthwise, but I assume the 3000 is long enough to cover that extra inch; 47x97.
