Something is wrong with my Avatar?!

Shane I just found my Avatar in the middle of a post by Kev. Initially I thought it was him up to some tricks, then when I read further posts in  my 'Replies Box' I found that my Avatar has been replaced by a smily. And in making this post, I discover my Avatar is also displayed with the smilies as I type.

I rechecked my profile and it shows the correct Avatar. And resaving did not fix the issues.

I downloaded OS8 to my IPad yesterday AEST, but the FOG was OK until this morning/just now. Any thoughts.?

With appreciation,

Stephen

Edit. I will be off the FOG for most of today due to work, but will review this when I get home.

I am not Shane and I don't think that Shane is available today - traveling.

Your avatar looks normal to me at this end.  Try clearing your caches or refreshing from the website versus browser history.

Thanks Peter. In the bleary mist of waking up this morning. I had obviously forgotten one of the golden rules of system upgrades - empty the cashe and cookies afterwards.  [embarassed]

Best wishes as you enter the next significant stage of your recovery.

Hi Wolften,

Nice try but I am South of the Murray. More likely last nights Shiraz and the thought of 8 hrs serving less than knowledgeable DIYs in the timber yard today. Still we survived!

Edit. For NA and European readers the Murray River traditionally delineates the Australian Eastern States that traditionally have only played Rugby League or Australian Rules Football. Soccer all states. In recent times this delineation has changed with AFL teams now also in Sydney and Brisbane and a Ruby team  in Melbourne.

As far as the rest of Australia is concerned, the Murray River is our equivalent of the US's Rio Grande [wink] [big grin]

Or to put it another way we in the Southern Australian states (possibly with the exception of Western Australia) refer to the Deep North, as in US Deep South. Take that how you wish, there are positives and negatives everywhere you look!  [eek]

A river? They got water in Australia? I always thought it was just one big bowl of sand.  [tongue]
