Spark Arrestor for CT SYS Vacuum?

Hello,

I hope that I am posting this in the correct place! I am running a Festool CT SYS 575280 Dust Extractor, and I am trying to find a spark arrestor that will be compatible with this unit. If anyone has any leads please let me know.

Unfortunately Festool stopped offering the spark arrestors here in North America.

I have no idea about third party solutions but I would sincerely doubt they exist because of the too limited market.

I suspect that the spark arrestor is still available in Europe.  [member=41214]Phil Beckley[/member] , is the arrestor still available on your side of the pond?  Will it fit the CT-Sys even if not still available new?

Nilfisk alto has a spark arrestor that looks very similar to the old festool part; model or partnumber 34591.
According to an Australian website that sells it the internal diameter for the connection is 50mm external 58.

But like Phil said I don't think it's practical with a CT sys. (The drum is fairly big, and you'll probably have to rig up an adapter for the inlet)

It's the same. Almost all Festool's vac accessories are made by Nilfisk Alto.

It's big, but it's not heavy, just 0.77 Kg.
