Spax finally made a T-Loc Systainer

I use a T-Loc sorttainer which is the same size as a SYS IV for my screws [mostly McFeely's square drive].  I would actually prefer if it were SYS III sized for this application, because loaded up with screws it is quite heavy.  If you're going to be dense about packing it, then I'm not sure much bigger than SYS I is actually helpful.

Luckily I'm a GRK user. Now if they were to make a systainer loaded up with their cabinetry screws I would be in trouble.

I also use GRK screws and have 3 T-Lock mini with a 6 bins insert and a foam top. each mini can contains 1,200 GRK R4 1"1/4, 1"1/2, 1"3/4. Locks together & easy to carry.

I'd wish they would focus more on selling screws in bigger containers (with appropriate price discount).  Also work to get them certified as replacement for nails in building code.

I prefer GRK over Spax but sometimes Spax are just easier to find.

My most used GRK is the R4 #9 x 3 1/8" and the #9 x 2 1/2". They are available in boxes of 2000 pieces at real lumber yards.  [smile]

I haven't used a lag bolt in years since the release of the RSS version. I've installed everything from wall mounted vanities to stainless railings with the RSS. Fantastic fastener.

I use GRK's trim head screws in 305 stainless for exterior cedar trim.

Here's a list of code approvalshttps://www.grkfasteners.com/tech-data/code-approvals

My problem with using number 1 Systainers is how many would it take to hold 3 parachute bags of GRK fasteners and 1 parachute bag of Spax fasteners?

In a single Sys 1 you can probably put +4,000 GRK R4 3"1/2

My screw box is the heaviest small tool box I own. Screw bags work well, although bins are removable from tool boxes too. Why would you use a Sys 1 when you can just put the screw bags into a Sys 2 or Sys 3? (I would go with something bigger myself in another brand IE: Packout.)

Someone's Packout I found on the internet. Hmmm...just realized I have another brand of box loaded with pop rivets.

My screws are still currently in a Ridgid box, which is modified and pop riveted to add the center bins, but eventually I will switch over to all Milwaukee and get rid of the 15 Ridgid tool boxes I currently own, or use them for other stuff.

[member=65062]DynaGlide[/member] Here we go!

First picture: RSS & R4 screws

Second picture: Side view to show the foam thickness. Seal well the bins to not mix screws.

There is about 1,200 screws on the two R4 minis. You can probably fit 1,500

DashZero: thanks for the links- but those are not T-Loc. Those Hitachi Classic sys don't fit in well with the T-Locs so I gave away all the Systainers. Now they all ride in a Mafell Metal cart.

Maybe HiKoki will go T-loc eventually.

I just received my SPAX Systainer direct from Germany to the USA. Ordered 2019-03-20 received 2019-04-08.

Very good customer service all done over email. https://www.dittmar-sba.de/SPAX-Box-systainer-T-Loc-I-mit-12-Abmessungen-WIROX-5000009172009.html
Bit late to the party. Just found out this systainer and screws.

How much did you ended up paying with shipping and all?

Spax or GRK screws are so hard to find in Quebec, Canada.

LeeValley has most of the GRK and renodepot also has them although never directly listed as GRK (need to search climatek or R4).

Oh! Good to know. Will look into them.

You mean I need to look for climates or R4 on reno Depot website?

I’ve look at Home Depot and Rona late last year cause I was looking for tork screw and they didn’t have any, figured reno dépôt wouldnt be better.
