I don't know a thing about designing speakers, so I used a design from Troels.  Fired them up for the first time today and they sound great.  The cabinets are baltic birch with walnut veneer and some wenge edging.  Finish is Rubio.  Thanks for looking :)

Nice job on the cabs, beautiful finish. Appears they match your (I presume) audio rack in background?

Those look like Scan Speak Illuminator drivers, They are awesome- I have the bass and tweeters with some Morel mids in my DIY speakers from another designer.  Really solid and enjoyable.

Troels’ designs have always intrigued me, which model did you build?

Great job on the speakers and the woodworking.

What speakers are you using and what X-overs?

Thanks!  I used Troels' Ekta MK2 design.  I didn't change anything (cabinet dimensions, crossover, etc.), although my construction methods are different.

Thank you!  I made that credenza a couple years ago intending to put stereo equipment in it, but ended up using it for other stuff.  I purposely kept my system very small, and I only stream from Tidal these days, but I still want to build some sort of cabinet for it.  "Some day".
