Hope they are better than fast cap fatboy pencils they are rubbish awkward to hold cus they r to fat.  Plus mine just fell apart not long after I got it.

Jmb

Fastcap fatboy is rubbish only lasted a few days, have been using the pica dry for about two weeks and still going strong seems to be a better build. How about a discount now for giving a good review lol.

Thanks guys. Just send payment to our Paypal account storeyuk@gmail.com along with your delivery address and we will send it out for you. This is all temporary until we get the online store up and running. I'm sure you will be impressed with the product when you receive it.

Thanks for the review too!

Regards

DOH! I got one a couple of weeks ago of you guys.  Its great! I like the  holder with built in sharpener, clip it to pocket and pencil pulls out nicely, much better than putting behind ear( everytime i have haircut falls off ear for few weeks anyway)

The pencil marks surfaces very good. Usually i find normal pencil don't mark high gloss surfaces very well, bout pica is excellent.

I intially thought, wow expensive, but have just ordered another one with aload of refills.  NOW you do the offer!!! Nevermind not complaining.

Defenitely better than fat boy pencils JMB?

Ewan,

Are any of these good for making a very fine line (less then 1mm)  on dark woods like; rosewood, mahogany, black walnut, etc?

Me too I bought one off ebay a couple of weeks back. Might get some of the coloured leads try them out.

There is a US dealer - Artisan Tool Company.
Also saw a dealer listed in Australia when Googling pica-dry.

Aussie site http://pica-marker.com.au/ unfortunately no reseller list.

Saw that Kev, if they can't be stuffed to list retailers on their site, I can't be stuffed to ask. [huh]

I tried buying from a local Ebay seller and they ended up refunding my money, advising they couldn't get stock. I hate buying something really cheap from O/S when the freight is as much as the item I'm buying [sad]

These are great pencils! I ordered a few of them from a vendor in Germany before Artisan Tool Company was around, so I feel your pain on shipping costs.  I've let a few friends use them while helping on projects.  They have all asked when I'm placing my next order [big grin].  A word of caution on the colored leads though, they're really soft, almost crayon soft. Not a huge deal but don't bother trying to keep a point on them for precise marks.  This isn't the case with the graphite lead.
