Spiral cutter head for Rigid Jointer

I found a fantastic deal on a new insert-style head for my jointer. I watched a couple of videos that claimed it was very easy to do. They were right! It actually took longer to install all of the cutters that swapping the main body. I had the whole thing installed in less than 20 minutes, except for the inserts. I don't really know why they don't do it at the factory? other than maybe the cost of time? There is no physical/fitment reason for it.
I have seen videos of some of the expensive units for the DeWalt 735 planer where you have to remove them just to get it installed, then put them back in after? that seems silly to me. Why would they install them, knowing that the user would have to remove them again?
45 minutes from start to making chips was pretty good though. I did have to raise the outfeed table by .005" but that was it. The sound is pretty similar when free-spinning, but a lot quieter when cutting, especially full width cuts, and way smoother feeling.

Nice! I absolutely love my spiral cutter for the router, I'm actually waiting on a shipment of more cutters, and carbide scrapers, along with a sensational Vee insert cutter I can't wait to try for the CNC!
