Stainless Steel Extension Tube

I have the Stainless Steel Extension Tube accessory for the mini.  Recently one of the black plastic rings cracked and now the tubes don't stay together.  I call support and they don't sell parts for accessories.  I was kind of disappointed as I did not really want to spend $66 after I already spent $255 for the tradesman install set.  Any one have similar issues and offer any solutions?

That part is available through EKAT service. It's called a sleeve, part number 494875 and it costs about $3.
