Check out the first post for a quick look at the new goods!

Not sure how many of you have heard, but Stanley is reintroducing their Sweet Heart planes.  We're really psyched as this provides another challenger in the market to Lee Valley, Lie-Nielsen, Veritas, etc, etc.  Here is a link to Stanley's siteHere is a link to Stanley's site with some of the planes ( 12-136 12-137 12-138 -12-139 12-140).  Each plane features:

An adjustable mouth
A 1/8" thick A2 steel blade
A one piece precision ground frog
Base casting
Limited life time warranty

I'll be blasting out an email soon with all applicable prices, ordering info, etc.  From the prototypes that we got to see and the few that have come in and are already available (12-140) we're all very impressed so far.  Tight tolerances, nice weight, adjustability, lifetime warranty....seem like winners!

Joe, are you talking about the 12-138?  If so let me know, I have two left

Joe, I've only heard good from the locals I've sold them to.  Haven't used them yet myself but am very impressed with the craftsmanship and quality.

Running theme I continue to hear is that quality combined with the pricing makes them a win win

Friends, These planes are OK. These are not your typical modern Stanley variety. I think Stanley saw the light and decided to try and get back in the tool market.

Guys its Stanley, I'm sure they will find a way to bunk it up and charge too much for it.
