One comment, before you get angry at it, just ditch the plastic bag in it. It is practical only for plaster work where the weight of the plaster forces it to the walls.
Second, learn to epty the bin when about 1/3 full. Otherwise the air can start gradually pulling previously collected dust into the vac. Most of the vertical space is needed for the air "cyclone" to do its job so it loses efficiency when filled up to 1/2 and more.
The Festool marketing pictures are unfortunately misleading on this, showing full bags of plaster and all that ...
